Token budgets and forecasts

A token budget is money a person has planned. A token forecast is money Token Controller predicts. Both are compared with actual cost, and neither ever stops spending.

Token budgets

Put a token budget on a person (for example 1,500 EUR a month), a ticket, a project or a period. Type it, or accept a token forecast. People managers set token budgets for the teams and projects they are assigned.

Token forecasts

A token forecast is the median cost of similar past tickets, with the ticket system's size figure as one input. It is a suggestion. It becomes a token budget only when a person accepts it.

The more periods you close, the better the forecasts get, and a new client project can be quoted from what similar work cost before.

Comparing

See Token budget vs actual. Overruns and underruns both get a look: an underrun may mean someone can teach the others, or that the next forecast should be lower.

No caps

A token budget never stops an agent and sends no alert. Your provider offers spend caps if you need them.
